Our foodbank is run by local people for local people. We rely on the community’s support to ensure we can collect, store and distribute emergency food supplies. Can you invest in our project and help us continue to provide much-needed support to people in crisis in our community?

Not just food at Woking Foodbank

People who come to us for emergency food have reached rock bottom and often do not know what steps to take in rebuilding their lives. To help them navigate their way out of their challenging circumstances, we offer immediate professional support and advice to every person who comes to us.

With over 10 years’ experience of providing people with emergency food, we have identified the need for immediate professional support in three key areas:

Signposting support

People in crisis often do not know where to go for support relevant to their needs. Our Signposting Support Manager provides guidance and referrals to other local projects, professionals, and organisations.

Debt and budget support

People in need of emergency food have exhausted their finances. We have financially trained and accredited advisors to help with budgeting, finances, and debt management.

Specialist advice

We have a dedicated Citizens’ Advice advisor who helps with specialist advice specific to individual circumstances.
