We believe that no one in our community should face hunger.
That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to people in Woking.
We are part of a nationwide community of food banks, supported by Trussell, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Woking Foodbank was founded in 2014 and was founded by local churches and community groups, working together towards stopping hunger in the Woking area.
Running the food bank wouldn’t be possible without our teams of fantastic volunteers, several of whom have been with us from the start. We are so grateful for their dedication and passion!
Thank you to everyone who lugs heavy crates around at the warehouse, packs bags, supports us at one of our distribution centres, sits with a distressed visitor, stands in the cold to collect donations at supermarkets, organises rotas and everything else.
